Hi,
I’m obsessed with these earrings, but wonder if the quality with LV Fashion jewelry is as bad as I have experienced with Chanel costume jewelry.. I mean if one (or more) of the pearls will drop off, it will be no point to wear them anymore.. should I just pass these beauties? Please share your experience❤️

It's costume jewelry so it is what it is.

Though if it's earrings and you don't get them wet, they'll probably hold out better than LV costume jewelry rings or bracelets.

I had friend who got an LV costume bracelet as a gift, she wore it almost everyday and in ~1 year it was fully tarnished.

Personally I would pass. Costume designer jewelry is already expensive and it can be saved for a fine jewelry piece.
Unless that was a particular design or collection you really wanted, then I understand. Some things are just too cute/pretty to pass up sometimes haha.

I have a few costume earrings from LV and Dior, but no Chanel pieces though. Several bracelets from Hermes too.

I don’t wear my costume/fashion jewelry pieces everyday, so for me, they have all held up well (oldest pieces are 3 years old). I do think LV produces better quality costume jewelry than Dior though. I’d even go as far to say I’m happier with the LV quality than Hermes rose gold.

LV and Dior have minor tarnishing, but nothing a polishing cloth or a jewelry cleaner meant for fashion jewelry can’t fix. Hermes rose gold tarnishes to yellow gold in just over a year, and no matter what I do, I can’t get the rose-tone back.

All that aside, if you want the best value for your buck, go with Swarovski. None of my pieces have tarnished, regardless of metal tone, and some are 10 years old now.

Also, costume jewelry isn’t meant to be worn everyday/often, so if you want to wear something everyday, get fine jewelry. Don’t cut corners if your ultimate goal is to wear it everyday.

I have the chain lock it unicef bracelet that I have worn every day for the past four and a half years. It hasn’t tarnished, couple of scratches as to be expected. I would be wary of some pieces but I am very happy with this one

If I recall correctly, the unicef bracelets are all solid silver, so they would be more hardwearing than costume jewelry which is usually a mixed metal like brass that is layered with a metal coating that is usually not a precious metal (like gold plating).

I was obsessed with the Louise PM mini hoops for nearly a year. I read threads on costume jewelry and the input from people on here was 50/50 (50% saying it's junk and to save up for real gold items/50% saying to splurge on it and to know it wouldn't last "forever").
Honestly, in the end I just bought them because I loved them and knew I would get a lot of use out of them. I wear them most days but not every day, and they look as good as the day I bought them (10 months ago, so nearly a year). Mind you, I'm careful not to get them wet or spray perfume on them, and will not wear them if I know it's raining outside.

Bottom line: I don't regret getting them and they're my favourite pair of earrings to wear. Yes, I know they won't last "forever" but nothing does.

Just my two cents.:coolio:
