I may need to get the new Flower Power Sautoir necklace. (When you see it IRL, you'll understand.) :p

The SA tells me it's brass, which does tarnish after awhile. Does it polish up nicely? How do you polish it?

Will it last? This piece has embedded crystals in some links. I've seen accessories on ebay that are missing crystals. Is that common with LV?

I have the FP ring, and have not noticed any tarnishing yet.

However, I own a lot of fashion jewelry and know that this will tarnish over time, especially if you don't wear it. Whether or not you keep it in a jewelry box, they will tarnish as the oxygen gets to the metal.

I bought a huge bottle of the Tiffany & Co. silver polisher and it does wonders.
I use this to clean all of my brass hardware on my LV purses, and of course all silver and other metal jewelry.

Just dunk a Qtip, and work away since the jewelry line is a lot more delicate than the metal used on hardware for purses! ;) For anything big, just use a soft cloth.

As for missing crystals, I'm not too sure about that.
I checked my ring to make sure everything was intact before I bought it so hopefully they don't fall out on me! >_<

I saw this necklace and the whole line when it first came out and yes, I do know what you mean, I want the whole set but especially that neceklace:nuts:

renayamasaki: Thanks for the advice. I'll have to hop down to Tiffany to get some of their cleaner. I checked your ring out - CUTE!

Aadams - Aaah, the whole set is gorgeous! Are you getting any pieces? My SA says this necklace is selling really fast, so if I want it I have to grab it soon.

I was just coming here to post the SAME thing!!! lol

I am dying for the Flower Power ring..but brass? Never had brass jewelry. Does it chip the way the zipper pulls etc... eventually chip?

The sautoir necklace is TDF!!!! I want it!
