I got my groom blue wallet via duty free in korea, and well..its chipped...:wtf: I only got this item at the airport so i never knew it had chippings.. Im not 100% happy about it:crybaby:
I was wondering if i can exchange my wallet in australia. Is this possible?

I think as long as you have the original receipt you can exchange it at any LV worldwide. Please be forewarned that you will be paying the difference in exchange rate including any taxes. Good luck!

^^Yeah... Another pfer had purchase something in Europe and decided to return and exchange it for another item. She/he ended up paying sales tax and currency exchange. This pfer was very upset. Like you never saved any money at all!

I was at the LV boutique in Oslo right after Christmas, and a man came in and requested to exchange a wool scarf he had gotten as a Christmas present. Apparently it was purchased at a diffrent boutique (he had the reciept), and they refused to exchange it. Needless to say he and his wife were very upset and left the store very mad.

Personally I don't see what the problem is? They can just accept the return at their current retail price and resell it for the same price, no loss for them. The man looked like he had $$$ so they might have lost a big customer by not being more serviceminded.

Yup, you pay whatever the item costs in THAT country. So if you were to exchange, you pay whatever Australia asks for. Also even within a country (eg. Canada) some provinces have diff. taxes, so we need to pay the difference

Yes you can exchange it as long as you have the original receipt. If you couldn't find anything that you would like to exchange it for right away, they will give you a credit note for the local retail price and the credit note is good for 1 year.

HTH! :smile1:
