Hi Everyone! This is my first time posting in the LV forum. I’m thinking of purchasing a small bag for every day use. I have a child so I want something simple and easy to wear. I’m trying to decide between the Double Zip Pochette or the Celine Trio. Which one would you choose and why? Thank you so much!

I don't know much about the Trio. I do have the double zip pochette and it is one of my most used bags. It is lightweight and carefree. I have the giant reverse monogram and I like that you can turn the bag around for a different pattern and look. I can also detach the black leather strap and use a gold chain. It has a card holder built in, which saves space. I wasn't even looking at this bag the day I bought it, but I'm thrilled my SA suggested it as I wouldn't want to be without it in my collection!

Thanks so much for your feedback. I love the part that it has the card slots so I don’t need to bring a card case. Makes things much easier!

I personally love celine and for that reason vote celine over LV. You can get a preloved celine for a good price these days. I have many celine items from about 10 years ago and although the leather is soft some never scratched (specially if the bag wasn't structured, like cabas or zip pouch), my box when it would get scratched, which was once or twice, over the years after use was buffed out by itself, I know it sounds crazy, but the scratched never stayed on.

I heard that the Celine trio leather is so soft that it gets scratched easily and it doesn't look good if you fill up the bag like the picture below

I love the color too! I’m worried the Trio will scratch easily and won’t hold its shape as good as the double zipped pochette.

Thank you! That’s what I was afraid of with the scratching and maybe stretching? It’s so hard to choose!

I actually already have my items in the bag except for my phone. :lol: I put all my cards in the card slots in the bag so I don’t need to use a wallet. That was one of the main reason for getting this bag. I have my keys in there as well. That’s pretty much how it looks when I wear it.
