Okay. So after weeks of debating on a wrislet or clutch for
going out, I have narrowed it down to 2. I need a more open, unbiased opinion so I don't want to post on Coach or Lv. Although both groups of ladies are amazing.

So I need something to do wear with all darks colors. It's mostly for going out with hubby or friends. I am concerned about quality and price. The Lv pochette cost more but I know it woulf hold it's value better.
I think the Coach swagger is cute and cheaper.
What do you ladies choose? What to do you think is more versitle, better quality, won't look dated and cuter??

Have you seen the swagger in person?

I thought it was cute at first, then I decided I liked more structure. The color is great though.

Have you looked at the Coach Liv crossbody? It has a large gold turnlock. There is also a swagger crossbody at one of the department stores that has silver hardware. (It's not on the Coach website.)

To answer ur own question you should go with LV pochette. As you said is more versatile, better quality and wont look dated and plus you can purchase a longer strap and make it into a crossbody

That's what I am thinking too. I know if I try and resell the pochette I can probably get my money back and not lose. I really... Want a Lv bag but the price scare me.

The Coach one is rather boring and too casual, in my opinion. I would go for the LV one, personally. You can wear it in so many ways and it will transition well from day to night in a flash. Plus it's super cute, too. Go for LV!

I'm a HUGE Coach fan (um, hence the name!), but I would definitely go for the LV pochette. I love the Damier print....And the Coach Swagger itself is a great bag, but the Swagger wristlet doesn't hold as much or have as much versatility as the LV pochette.

Let us know what you decide!!!

LV, no question. So much more timeless. You'll be able to keep it for a decade without it looking dated, and if you get sick of it, it will hold much more value for resale. DE pochette is pretty much ALWAYS appropriate, too. So versatile. I feel you on the scariness of the price but I don't think you'd regret it.

Well, if YOU really love one of them then that's all but matters, but personally I'm not crazy about either one. Maybe the LV in leather would be nice. I think that coated canvas/brown checkered pattern is very casual and I see it everywhere so it doesn't seem that special. YMMV.

At one time I had 3 LV pochettes. So I lean more towards LV. I own the DE pochette NM you are considering and I LVoe it, it's one of my favorite clutches!

I also agree with previous poster that maybe you should also consider the leather pochettes too like Epi, Vernis and Epi electric. I have the Vernis pochette NM in Amarante and it's great because the LV canvases can clash if you're wearing prints. HTH

Yes, I would get something black, but maybe not the swagger wristlet. If you can get LV epi in black, it might retain its value for a long time AND be versatile enough to wear with any outfit.
