LV Cité bag

What do you guys think of the cité bag? I am debating getting one, maybe the preloved way or new (if it ever restocks?). Or was it limited, does someone know?!?

Im not quite sure if its a dated bag or even cool, but somehow it speaks to me. Let me know your thoughts!

I really like it and thought about getting it but wasn’t sure how I would use it as a shoulder bag and now easy it is to get items in and out…I am not sure if they discontinued it or not…..I don’t feel it looks dated…

I actually considered this bag too. I like the long shoulder straps. Eventually I got distracted by other bags but I think it’s a functional bag and looks pretty easy to use. I do think it kinda looks dated. But I don’t mind it so much.

Something just occurred to me. I think I would be annoyed with the long shoulder straps when I set the bag down. Wherever I put it the straps will be trailing and will probably get dirty pretty quick.

I think it's a cute size and I don't feel that it looks dated. It seems like a good every day bag.

This LV "speaks to me" too!!!!! I do not think it looks dated. It looks like it should be a "classic". (The comment about the long straps might be something to consider though)

Hard to say... I think it was a limited show item back from last year. FW22 I think?

my thinking is it is a bit too bulky to carry on the shoulder, the good thing about it is longer shoulder strap and safe zipper closure and can holds a lot.

I have the cite from when it was originally out in the early 2000’s. Maybe 2004 or 2005? My mom purchased it for me when I was in high school as my first Louis Vuitton bag. It was so special.
I loved it then and I love it now! The one from then does not have the leather straps coming down from the zipper pocket and I do think that looks a little nicer. I would definitely get it!

Yeah Im still debating
The one thing that makes me bit nervous is how the bag gets formed with use and time. Question is if this may cause cracking over time….
