The slouchy, spineless motorcycle bag style. It’s an updated Balenciaga City. The problem with Balenciaga City for me was when you wear the city bag with a slouch, the “top sealant coating” (there is a word for it but it slipped me) of the bag would crack as the bag becomes U-shape.

Perhaps LV uses better sealant and won’t crack like Balenciaga’s.

I agree that it reminds me of where he came from (fashion house).

I have many city bags (all older ones..not the latest reissue ones) and none of the glazing on the edges have cracked…in fact I’d say theirs is better than the Lv ones I have that melted. Our experiences are so different! 😏😅

I don‘t see the resemblance, too… But I also all have only older Balenciaga City bags (which still small heavenly, love their leathers!).
However, I like the shape, it would look better on a bigger version though and it also would be more functional. If the MM would be a tad bigger, it would be like a fabulous (very luxurious) sports bag or overnighter!

Erm, I had melting glazing too from LV, the 2013-14 batches of empriente. Just that I noted the new LV biker bags did not have the leather edge sticking out on top like City. It’s just the zippers.

Yes, their softest calfskin comes from very young bulls (that is why it's so soft and tender), the same as their Taurillon leather (which literally means that in French). This must be similar with a different drumming technique and finish. For these prices they must be very nice.

Anyway, I selected some biker bag photos on the little red note app to share here for references:

So according to the SA acct on little red note, they shared that the all black comes in 3 sizes, nano, PM & MM. The other cream-black and grey-black comes in PM & MM only. Seems like they are gold tone hardware too while all black is in silver tone hardware.

The inner lining is like the old mini Lin design!!! I love it!
