Hi! How do you pronounce LV bag names? It would be really humiliating if I pronounce it wrong while talking to a Louis Vuitton *addict* or anyone who is really familiar with the brand..

MONOGRAM - i know it's MO-NO-GRAM.. quite easy.. hehe..
DAMIER - DAMYEY? I'm not sure
VERNIS -
NOMADE -
TAHITIENNES -
RUBIS -
MONTORGUEIL -
BATIGNOLLES -
DEAUVILLE -
etc.
etc.

Can you share the pronunciations you know?

Damier - Dahm-yay that's how I say it. But I no like zero french haha. There's a thread about LV pronunciation, but the search isn't working =(

Vernis - I believe it's like Ver-knee haha ok i can't help on the others lol

Oh one more.... I should know how to say Bastille - So i think you pronounce it like, Bah- Steel

Don't feel embarrassed. If French (and in some cases Italian and Spanish) isn't your native language how would you know how to pronounce it?:flowers:
