Dear everyone, I'm looking for a small bag to dress up with pastel colors outfit. I'm have too many black bags so not sure which neutral bag to choose. Originally I'm interested in the alma BB in rose ballerine until I saw this new Gucci Sylvie in white. Which one will you choose and why? [emoji5]

I would pick the Alma bb. The shape is feminine and classic. The Gucci is a little too boxy for me. I did not used to be an Alma bb fan (before the bb size was released) but now I have a few so my view may be a little skewed. I have admired other Gucci bags though, this one does not do anything for me.

Which colour pastels, will a pale pink Alma BB go with all your pastels, is there a danger of looking like a ice-cream? I really love the Alma (and all similar shape bags) and in a paler colour you won't see the finger marks as easily as happens on some of the other shades.

I'm not sure the Sylvie would go with pastels either but I love everything about the bag and the off-white is my favourite cw.

I think the Sylvie is a much more beautiful and unique bag than the Alma. It definitely stands out in a sea of handbags. However, the Sylvie is white and personally I won't carry a white bag. It's asking for something to be spilled on it. The Alma is patent leather and can be used a lot more often even in bad weather. Though as PT pointed out you could run into the problem of looking like an ice cream cone. lol Maybe the Alma in a different colour - a neutral beige-rose but not black?

LV Alma BB of course! it is classier and edgier
i just bought it in Dune, and i was hesitate to buy the Dune or Rose Ballerine.
eventually i ended up with Dune.
