Hey there!

First of all, I want to get something off my chest. Over the past months that I have began to read this forum I've been amazed by this community of people who appreciate the art of handbags and purses. I think I've gone a bit nuts recently with posting questions, so I apologize.

But I need your expertise again! I am in the market for a new wallet, one that is small enough to fit into my jeans or jacket if I need to run out the door, one that fits all of my cards (right now around nine, more in two years) and has a zippered coin department and one that will have a good repairs policy as I am looking at keeping it for as long as possible as my only wallet. Ideally, it would have an id window, but I could live without it. I narrowed my choices down to two wallets: Mulberry Daria French Purse and LV Alexandra. I think the Mulberry fits my lifestyle right now better, and has a bitter coin department whereas the Alexandra will fit my lifestyle in a couple of years better. With the id window and 13 card slots the Alexandra will have more room but even the DE print that I am looking at (and suddenly obsessed with recently!) is more flashy somehow than the Mulberry. Also, the Mulberry is made in China, I don't know how I feel about that. Does anyone have them? What is the wear and tear like? Which one would you recommend I get?

Thank you lots in advance! I really appreciate any input.

I only have the Alexandra with DE print. It's a great wallet. It holds a lot. It can, however, get a bit bulky. I know LV has it categorized under compact wallets, but it's really not very compact, imo. I got it in 2011 and looks great but I do rotate with another wallet since 2013. I would go to the store and handle it. I don't think this wallet will fit into your jeans.

Sorry, I am not familiar with the Mulberry wallet.
