Hello,

I'll be visiting Dubai in May and was wondering if the prices of watches are lower than in the US and Europe.

Also, is there any advantage to buying in the airport duty-free or are the prices the same as in the city?

If you are more specific about the watch brand, I can try to find the price for you in Dubai. Generally speaking, Dubai is considered duty free, so it is supposed to be cheaper. Besides, most of the luxury brands will give a small discount.

It really depends on where you are comparing the prices from. Luxury goods in Asia is usually more expensive than Europe or USA. Don't forget to factor in the luggage space, credit card conversion fees(unless you spend cash), and import tax of your own country.
