Hi All,

I am looking for a pair of Stuart Weitzman boots, preferably over the knee - or any luxury boots of the same ilk, the issue is my calves are 48cm at the widest point and the reserves were a disaster, so were Paris Texas in the suede, luxury retailers dont let you shop by calf width (no idea why) and SW staff are either clueless or not very helpful, this has been on my shopping list for years, so any and all help is much appreciated

You might want to try Russell & Bromley, especially the more vintage over the knee boots, they are sizing rather generously, I feel your pain, I inline and ice skate a lot, so my calves are quite muscular, which can be really a problem when buying boots

Oh thank you ☺ that's really helpful, its like these people design boots for twiggy and no one else, ill take a look

MM6 and Maison Margiela also tend to be more generous, I had a pair of Escada boots that also fitted well, Zanotti and Bottega Veneta, it totally depends on the model, I am not keen on the stretch boots, so my SA measures the shaft width on top and at the broadest point. Oddly enough the "Chevalier" boots, you know the ones you can wear over or under the knees, depending if you fold them over or not, they are really good and while not a super luxury brand, Belle & Mimi

I haven't heard of the Chevalier boots but im intrigued, Bottega i never would of guessed, this is shaping to be a good shopping list!! Now all I need is an SA so they can do all the heavy lifting haha

Seriously, most shops will do it for you if you call them and tell them your size and the model you want.

Chevalier boots is not a brand, it is the style, but for some reason they seem to come ideal for more muscular calves
