Lately, I seem to be in a "lux boho" mood, for lack of a better term. This is new, as I usually gravitate toward classic, structured styles, and I'd love to hear from others who have been into this style for a longer period of time. I recently purchased both of the bags pictured below, a Nina Ricci medium Faust tote in a warm reddish brown and a Loewe Flamenco in a gorgeous (but OMG bright!) yellow. Opinions on these bags? Can I justify both [emoji14], and if not, which would you keep? Other "lux boho" bags you love? TIA!

I love both of them and they are different enough in shape, color ànd size to keep both. How is the leather on the Nina Ricci bag?
I love the boho look for bags, they are so comfortable to carry and I love how the leather drapes. I dislike struçtured bags, they remind me of little suitcases.

I cannot come to terms with, "luxe boho."(Also, "glam rustic," bores holes of confusion through brain.)
Current images of this style remind me of anxious rich kids, getting kicks from slumming-it.
Without quite understanding hard reality or situational comfort.

For me, boho embraces movement away from bourgeois conventions. Has artistic history.
And enters personal style numerous ways.
Not just about buying everything floppy with fringe.
About confident attitude towards individual tastes. With hint of being unorthodox, whilst staying relaxed.
Any bag would capture that. If worn in same spirit.

Your movement towards unstructured bags may indicate personal growth. A new direction wanting to explore.
Seems good to mix it up & experiment. :)

My fave choices for flopping along carefree, possibly boho-ish--mulberry alice zipped tote or campomaggi leather messenger.
Not worried about setting on damp concrete or grass. Refuse to wear with glittery nail varnish & chinchilla fur.
Always, always pair with comfty shoes. Weird hat & fluttery scarf optional.
Mostly attitude, not objects. Mental? ;)

Hope helps.

You could justify both if you think this phase of yours is going to last all year round.

Wear the NR with a more muted or classic outfits, I see multi-layers of natural tines and then the Loewe with a more out-there maxi (smaller hobos are great with volume outfits) or for colour pop in the Summer.

I love hobos in Summer and BV or Gucci are the classic brands for that '70s look. The bags you've chosen are also totally in the vibe too :afrocool:

Thanks, all. This is my second Nina Ricci bag and the leather is fantastic. I'm definitely a fan. I got it at a good price from the Farfetch sale and will keep it. I'll use it a lot during the summer and early fall, probably mostly with jeans, and I love how much it holds. I bought the Loewe pre-loved and don't have it yet, but think I'll keep it as well. I will use it when I'm carrying less and wearing relaxed dresses and skirts. I may use it for vacations too.

I do like some Gucci and BV styles, but like these two bags more than the ones I've found at a comparable price point.
