Hi Ladies:

I am looking for this carré in the following colorways:

Red
Blue/Aqua
Blue/Chalk/Red

Help! I have called hermes customer service and some stores and have been told that after the sales the carrés that were left were sent to NY. NY ladies, if you see any of these scarves, PLEASE contact me!!

(Wanted to add I want the regular ones, not the pliseé.)

I heard that these were at the sale - sounds as if your call to Hermes confirmed this. I would check the threads about the NY Sale (or start a new one) to see if anyone there would let you know. I've seen this one and love it myself, unfortunately none of the colors worked out well on me. Good luck! And don't despair, after the sale is over, many scarves will pop up on eBay - just be sure that you have a picture of the S stamp so you know whether it bleeds through, etc.

I really think you'll have a good chance because they had quite a few in LA and they definitely didn't all sell. For the life of me, I can't remember the cws but I do recall one in a beautiful, muted sage green with pastel accents- almost bought it twice. Get there as early as possible and you'll be surprised at the selection!

I was calling stores to have the scarves ordered and shipped because I don't live near an H store. Would they ship sale items to me from the New York store?

I am relatively new here. Do you know any NY member I can talk to?

Sadly, it is not universal. I have a friend who regularly goes to the sales in Paris in January. They used to stamp onto the care tag. This past January, most of the stamps were under the care tags and on the scarves themselves. She brought me back 4 beauties - I just checked them and on three the S stamp is under the care tag and directly on the scarf. On the fourth, it is half and half. Fortunately for me, the S stamps are all quite light and don't show through - one scarf is light blue, one is white. I would check the S stamp on any sale scarf just to be sure.

I've never been lucky enough to go to an H sale personally, but the sale is held offsite, not in the store itself and I don't think they ship anything. I think they have their hands full dealing with all of the customers! Best thing would be to see if someone else who is going could look for one for you. Sorry that is not too helpful.

SORRY, they don't ship. You don't get a box or envelope for your scarf or even an orange bag. You get a white handled bag- no tissue which they staple shut with the receipt on the outside. Real bare bones! However, they did give orange sleepers for the 8-10 bags they sold. I hear NYC has a selection of leather goods so I don't know what you get there. Gretnegron- re scarf: try posting your own thread like Laboheme to find someone going to the sale.
