Lulu Fiona - Cutting the fringe?

Hi dooney gals. I've been eying the lulu Fiona for awhile BUT I'm not a fringe gal. Has anyone cut the fringe off? Also, how have these been wearing? It looks like the leather is nice and thick and I'm not put off by the lack of lining or limited pockets. Looking at saddle and real...

Have you seen the Cristina Collection? They are the same shape but no fringe

I had the lulu and cutting the fringe did cross my mind, I wasn't brave enough to try though.
