Has anyone splurged on a Ludo Bracelet ? It is High Jewellery and the cost is very high in comparison to the normal ones but lower amongst the other high jewellery.

i need to plan for a big birthday and I am thinking would it be worth buying it ?
Is that a daily wear if you think cost per wear ? Only special occasions ?
Would you one day sell it on platforms like Sothebys or Christies or is something you keep as a family heirloom ?
I could buy lots of pieces with that money but I’m not into stacking bracelets and I would normally just wear one ( I’m an earring and necklace person but would love to have a couple of amazing bracelets ). Most bracelets o keep them just to lengthen my 10 motifs to 15.

It is high jewelry and it's part of the Signature Collection, i.e. permanent ones, as opposed to thematic ones that are usually one-of-a-kind (e.g. Romeo and Juliet Collection, L'Atlantide Collection, etc).

I think @etoupebirkin has the yellow gold with sapphires version.

It has appeared on Sotheby's but historically it has fetched close to retail price of the time it's being sold. In other words, it appreciates value but not by much, only in line with store price increases, probably because it's not LE. So depending on your expectations it can be either for resale someday or just kept as a family heirloom.

I'm thinking of getting one someday but maybe special order: white gold with sapphires, if allowed. There have been white gold and sapphire Ludo bracelets before so it's not a crazy ask.

Thank you for your reply. It’s a lot of money and I always think resale value. I looked at the heritage one of a kind pieces but nothing appealed.
The Limited Edition ones will be the way to go but I think it’s a lot more than Ludo. Their mystery setting stuff are amazing but very expensive.

I don’t own a ludo but if you love it and will wear it then why not! It is a gorgeous piece to celebrate a milestone. It is a very wearable piece too. No stacking required.
My husband recently said to me I should look at buying less pieces but get stand out pieces I absolutely love. There are only so many pieces one can wear. I will be thinking about his advice as I plan my next piece. Ultimately I would love a mystery setting piece. They are crazy expensive but stand out!

So now I’m curious- how much is the Ludo bracelet?

How much is the Mystery Setting then, if it’s more expensive than the Ludo?
The mystery setting, the cheapest small ring I have seen in emerald ( their high jewellery heritage collection), is 200 K USD. It’s hundreds of thousands of dollars normally.

And the ludo is around 85 to 90 k I think. The coral RG is more expensive then a the others.

A Ludo bracelet starts at 80k euros and goes up to 90k for the diamond and white gold version.

A Mystery Set piece starts at 300k for the smallest piece. I haven't heard anything lower than that. This thread has more info:
