LP sale, anyone have the Margeaux bag?

I've recently become interested in these lovely bags and saw they have some sale bags right now. Love the looks of the Margeaux large crossbody and am wondering if any of you have it? I can't seem to find a whole lot of information on it.

I've liked that crossbody every since it's come out but I can't find it within myself to just go ahead and buy it. Any bags that have no outside pockets I've become wary on...I just need something to put my phone in that's easily accessible yanno? If it had a slip or zipper on the outside I'd snap it up because that leather looks so nice.

Thanks for your reply, do you know how long that particular style has been around? I'm new to the brand so really don't know anything.

Hm, I know it came out last year, but I forget if it was for spring or fall of '15. It's a relatively new style.

Ok, thank you. The leather looks really good to me but as I've been reading this forum I've heard some complain how LP has changed their leather so just wondering how this bag stacks up against the older models.
I'm also a bit worried that the strap isn't adjustable and because of that if it would hang way too low if not being carried crossbody.
So hard making a decision without seeing a bag in person!
