I usually wear a 9 to 9 1/2 and the 9 fit me perfectly.
My friend bought a pair and she wears 8 1/2 to 9 on most shoes and she bought the 9 as well. she found the 8 a bit snug so she bought the 9 and she's very please with it.

I tried both the 8 and the 9. The 8 fit but it felt very snug. At first I thought that I was between sizes and that I would have to add a insole to my espadrilles, but once I wore them I realized that they fit perfectly fine.
Good luck. My friend got the gold ones and they are absolutely fabulous. I wish I could get those too but the store only carried one of each size. Maybe I will order them online!
