I seen a gal carrying a fabulous MK tote in a tan leather, and researched it online. It seems it's the Gia, but why on earth is it priced at close to $ 1000. I can get another LV for that price..lol. I like the look of it, but inside its unlined and similar to a Neverfull. Is this a new model…still trying to figure out why they are triple the price of other MK bags. :smile1:

its made from better quality materials, I hope but from the looks of it the bag does seem to have the same leather quality he has been using with the Miranda which is hundreds more than a hamilton

Michael Kors has two lines: a contemporary diffusion line, MICHAEL Michael Kors, and a premier line, his namesake. The former is the one with which most are familiar nowadays, with the Hamilton and Selma as key pieces in the line and carried at many department stores, while the latter is more expensive and is of better quality materials and craftsmanship. His premier line came first, while the contemporary line is a direct contributor to his surge in popularity. The Gia is part of his premier line. It's similar to the varying labels of Ralph Lauren or the Calvin Klein available at Macy's vs the Calvin Klein seen at red carpet events on celebrities.

Don't forget about the mid-tier line KORS!
