Love ring and Atlas ring - trend or classic?

So I want to make my first foray into designer jewelry [up to this point I have purchased real stones/ metals but unbranded pieces].
I love both the Cartier Love ring and the Tiffany Atlas ring. I am planning on buying both in yellow gold and stacking them. I guess my question is, do you think this is jewelry that I can wear the rest of my life? Timeless, classic? Or is it just trendy and I'll only get a few years of wear out of them? They are quite expensive, if they are just a fad that is going to be over in a few years I would be more inclined to get similar unbranded jewelry.

I was between this two rings last week. And got the love ! Because I never ever have a Cartier jewlery before. And I am happy about the ring! Both are timeless!

Aww thank you! I got it probably 20 years ago, it's a thin band. Considering the title of this thread I'll say it's def a classic! lol!

It's this one, but mine looks like it's made better, my numerals meet the edging of the band. I guess it's changed slightly over the years

Both are enduring designs . I have these "classics" from Cartier , Tiffany&Co & Bulgari on regular rotation for the past decade.
