IMG_5969.JPG One of my ear piercings is stretched, so I'm hesitant to wear this kind of hoop style. Are there any solutions to improve the saggy lobe look, so I can feel more confident wearing my Christmas gift?

Thanks for any advice!

I forget what they are called, but there is stuff out there made specifically for this. I saw them being sold on QVC a long time ago. A lot of people bought them, they might really work.

Thanks, everyone! I'll try the Lobe Wonders first, since this is only a problem with heavier earrings. I'm blaming years of telephone calls at my office job without removing earrings.

I have the same problem. Years of office phone! And to make it worse, my phone ear is more stretched than the other so I’m lopsided! I had it repierced but it’s still not right.
I use “bling dots” and they work!
I’m also very cognizant of the weight of earrings now. I also don’t wear any shepherds-crook-style earrings anymore because they highlight a stretched lobe. All my earrings fit snugly.
Hope this helps!

I have the same issue - exactly the same issue - and because of it, I only wear stud earrings but I'm finding I'm wearing them less and less because my holes seem to be ripping worse. I heard from a doctor that fixing them would fall under plastic surgery and thus likely would mostly be out-of-pocket (which I can't afford to do). I have thought about a second piercing but it would look downright weird (because my first holes being so obviously ripped). Sigh... I will have to try this product.

Ugh so sorry that happened to you. I used to have plugs in my ears and considered the surgery - in 2010 it was roughly $350/ear as a cash patient because they only do local anesthesia. Luckily my holes shrunk after a few years without wearing earrings. Was your doctor saying you would need general or local?

He just said that I would have to see a plastic surgeon to fix it and that likely none of it would be covered by insurance so I haven't taken any further steps. I'm just finding myself wearing earrings less and less. I didn't wear earrings for many years (at least 10 years, if not longer) and no difference in my holes (no closure at all). I may go through my collection of earrings and downsize but it's sad to think about it so I haven't yet.

Try Bling Dots or Lobe Wonder (both easily found on Amazon).
A dermatologist can inject the area with restalyne which will firm up the area.
The ultimate fix is PS, although I have been told that the new scar can't be re pierced...they pierce in front of or behind the scar.
I have the same issue and for many years stayed away from great earrings (like Van Cleef and arpels). The bling dots make all the difference.

Thank you for mentioning the restalyne! That sounds like a great next step, short of surgery! This has bothered me for years, but not enough to look for a solution until now.
