If you want more bang for your buck, then I'd go with the ring ~$1200 than 2 tiny gold studs that are $1500.
Kind of blows my mind on paying so much for so little gold even though I know all luxury gold jewelry is overpriced lol.
Also, the studs feel a little underwhelming to me, they look like little buttons. While the ring has the more full effect of the design and history of the love collection.
But that's just me. Go with what you love more and what fits with your aesthetic!

Totally agree - underwhelming, and I also found them difficult to put on!

Definitely the ring! You can look at and/or play with it but you can't do the same with earrings. From a distance the earrings will look like generic gold studs.
My sister in law had the earrings. She liked them. But called them “hold me overs” until she got the diamond studs she wanted. Now she wears the diamonds and I haven’t seen the love earrings since lol. But I will say they are cute.
Actually the studs, as I don't take them off. I wear them together with my diamond studs in the second hole. Rings I tend to switch around.
