Hi all,

I know this has been a topic of discussion in many different threads already and I have spent hours now reading them all, but I hope it is okay to open this new thread for this as it seems to get lost in all those other threads within the pages.

I am considering a Love bangle and after today´s visit at the boutique I know for sure the cuff is not for me. Tried it already 3 weeks ago, again today, still the same, it just looks and feels odd on me.

Fell in love with the Love bangle instead, something I had never planned, mostly because of the screw-issues and not being able to take the bracelet off
myself.
Now today the SA showed me how to put on the bracelet without help and assured me loose screws are no issues and if I check it every week and
tighten the screws it will be fine.
Also the screws cannot fall off, so now worries to loose them.
She also said I can remove it regularly to clean it that would do no harm to the screwing system.

So Love-owners, can you please advise if loose screws are an issue with your Love ?

Do you keep it on all the time or remove it from time to time, or even regularly, to clean it?

Thanks for all your input- I need some ease of mind here I guess.........

I've had my love for just over 2years now and have not had any problems. I will say that the first year and a half i would check the screws regularly and one would move about a 1/4 turn every few weeks, and then I would tighten it. However, for the last few months it hasn't happened. I have never taken mine off and don't intend to. It's a little annoying to have to check it constantly but not enough to make me not want it and it's really not an imposition. Good luck!

Ask them what they can do if you have the loose screw problem before you purchase it. I told my SA that I was aware of the problem and I would NEVER accept it. He said he would change the screws to new ones if I had the problem. I bought my 4-diamond PG one in last December. I asked my SA to put it on just in case and went to the boutique once to get them checked with the screws. The screws have not moved at all since then.;) But, if you put on/off several times, you will more likely to have the problem, I think.

From time to time I gently press both sides of the bracelet, if they started moving then I have to tighten them by myself. Other than that I have no issues with my Love :)

I wear mine everyday and don't take it off. Had to remove it once for minor surgery but that is it. Been wearing mine for a decade and 0 issues. I wonder with the newer version if this is an issue. I don't wear it loose either was told by Cartier it is supposed to be snug on your wrist. Now I will definitely never take it off!!!

I have 3 that I wear everyday...
oldest one (4-5 yrs old, old screw system) has been on since I received it and the screws have never come loose
second oldest one (3 yrs old) use to drop to the ground weekly, after having it sent for repairs twice Cartier determined it was defective and replaced the screws over a year ago and the screws have not come loose since
newest one (4-5 mths old) has come loose once and drop to the floor, I had my SA tighten it and it hasn't come loose in 2 months...so we'll see how this one behaves as time passes

If anyone has problems with their screws coming loose, go to the boutique to have it looked at....and be persistent!

Thanks very much for all your precious input!

It makes me feel better about the love, I will certainly ask Cartier before purchasing what they will be able to do for me in case of loose screws.

My friend mentioned loctite as well (she is a watch addict and it seems some watches need that, too), however I feel slightly strange putting that on a bangle, not sure why.
