Hi Ladies,

I've had a Love bracelet for the last 6 years (old system) but it's getting a little too tight/uncomfortable so I've made the descision to sell it and buy a new one. I remember a few years back there were major issues w/ the new screw system w/ bracelets falling off randomly and losing them. Have they ever fixed this issue? What do you do? The one thing I've never worried about with this bracelet is it falling off and now I may constantly think about it! Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom and advice. MUCH appreciated!

I got my Love last year, and prior to getting it I was also apprehensive after having read horror stories about screws becoming loose/lost bracelets. AFAIK although Cartier hasn't specifically said whether they'd fixed it (and I doubt they'd openly admit there was a problem in the first place), the reports of the screws loosening seem to have been during the earlier days of the new system.

Mine's been on my wrist for about 13 months now; I've never removed or tightened it, and both screws have not budged - I actually took photos of the screws' initial positions so I can compare :p I sleep, shower, workout, etc with it on and have had no problems whatsoever. The SA screwed it on for me and she checked both sides very thoroughly during the process, so that probably helped. If you're really concerned, some ladies have tried Loctite, but I don't personally use it.

FWIW I've been trying to tighten my screws here and there to realize they are as tight as they can be. No loosening despite having two together. Only had the second one for three months now, so can't comment much on that, but it seems just fine

I asked the same question before I got mine last year! I've worn mine for about 1.5 years now and no problems. Just couple days ago, I tried to see if I could tighten the screws some more but it wouldn't budge. It means that the screws are not falling off.

Thank you! Will google now!
Loctite is good insurance, even though many folks will say it's not necessary. Hey, I could probably go all day without a belt and not have my pants fall off...but I wouldn't want to risk it! Use the lightest adhesion, which I think is 'purple'. You might find it in a hardware store, I ordered some on Amazon. My wife wears two loves, they are the old style, one of each different old style...there are at least two different 'old styles'. She twice lost screws on the new-old style bracelet, and had loosening from time to time on the old-old style, before the Loctite. Ever since then no problem over many years of 24/7 wear. I say why risk it!
