Hello Ladies! I’ve been going back and forth for what seems like forever on whether to purchase an sm or classic love bracelet. There are pros and cons to both, but what appealed to me about the sm was that it was more under the radar than the classic. Has anyone who owns the classic ever felt uncomfortable while wearing it as in it being too flashy perhaps or out there? Although I love the look of the classic the thought of feeling uncomfortable while wearing it makes me lean towards the sm more.. I know I shouldn’t make my decision based on what others think but I do prefer the peace of not having to worry if my bracelet would offend anyone. I’m not sure if anyone else feels the same way but I wish the love bracelet was more discreet. I actually did have a classic love bracelet a few years back and there were times that I didn’t feel comfortable wearing it such as to the grocery store , coffee shops , etc. which is why I decided to return it. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

If you’ve already had the classic size and it made you feel uncomfortable, then I think your decision is made. I also try to only pick jewelry that won’t make me feel self-conscious or wondering if it’s “too much” but I never feel like the classic love is too much. Especially not the plain one.

Most people where I live don´t know that´s a Cartier LOVE bracelet I am wearing. Might just be any golden bangle. I´ve had mine for five years now and no one ever commented the bangle. It might be differnt if there are many people with these bangles where you live. But if you feel uncomfortable with the classic size and still want a LOVE you can´t go wrong with the smaller size. Enjoy whatever you choose!

Buy and wear what you like. If you are concerned people will notice the design, those in the know, will notice it regardless of which size you choose. So it might not be the design for you regardless of color. I've never felt uncomfortable wearing my classic size Love bracelets. I have one in each color, and I think the yellow and pink gold stand out a bit more than the white gold. What metal did you you previously choose yg, rg, or wg? Maybe, if you had yellow or rose gold, you should try white gold. You might find it a little more casual and understated. Wishing you luck with your decision.

I'm in a field where I do not want to call attention to myself but jewlery makes my heart sing. I bought the juc w diamonds and the sm love in yg and I love wearing them because they're subtle yet gorgeous and still make me happy to wear. I have had some people notice the juc but the love stays under the radar.

I wear a few of them and don‘t care what anyone thinks but if I receive a compliment it‘s nice.
What made you uncomfortable? Why do you think people might be offended?

I really could care less if people are offended by my LOVE bracelet. I think that is their problem. It sounds like you really care what others think about your personal jewelry. I think you should just buy and wear what you love and enjoy it. Do not worry about what others think about your jewelry. I have never heard of anyone being offended by someone wearing a certain brand of jewelry. If someone was offended I think it is their problem and not your problem. Just my opinion.

Being under the radar is actually what draws me to the love bracelet. My husband and I are significantly more wealthy than many of our friends and family, and don’t like to be flashy about it but still want to enjoy nice things. I find the love bracelet very subtle, and not many people recognize it and really know how much it costs, or if they do I think they assume it’s a knock off. I’ve never had anyone make snide comments about my love bracelets, whereas my tennis bracelet a catty relative once made a comment about how I should sell it and give her the money to buy a house!
