Love Bracelet 4 My Mom

I have read about the love bracelets on tpf and I know people usually get them for their SO, but I was thinking of getting one for my mom. She just found out she has cancer and is having surgery tomorrow. She has been such an amazing mom and I don't know what I would do without her and I want to show her how much I love her and that I am here for her. I love the look of the bracelet and I know she would love it too. I even thought of getting us matching ones, gold for and white gold for me, as a mother daughter thing. Thoughts?

My Mom got me one recently. I asked her if she wanted to wear it, and give it to me when she was ready, but she didn't. I really love the idea of it being shared between mother and daughter, and I know mine will belong to my daughter someday.

I think it is a nice idea and if you believe she'll like it, great! A locket is a nice idea too.

The Love line isn't my favorite. I really like the trinity line though-have you looked at that? The trinity ring is really pretty and can be worn everyday:

I just wanted to say that your idea is beautiful. Just keep in mind that if your mother needs radiation/chemo afterwards, she may not be able to wear the bracelet during those times. It could be a little annoying having to screw/unscrew the bracelet, but I think it will be a great VICTORY bracelet!

I agree with Kitsunegrl and thought about the very same thing. I had lots of medical studies done prior to receiving my Love bracelet. But when my studies were scheduled, they always told me no jewelry. Love the "Victory" idea!
