Louis Vuitton Strap Hardware

Hi everyone!

I have absolutely fallen in love with a new sporty Bandoulière Strap that just recently came out on the LV website. I have been looking for a more sporty strap since I bought my empreinte nior PM last month. I want this strap so bad but it has the wrong color hardware!! I much prefer silver hardware anyways, but my PM has gold hardware. I think it would look horrible to mix gold and silver hardware on bags (just my opinion). So, my question is ... does LV swap out hardware upon special request? I don't even know if this is even a thing. Has anyone personally swapped their hardware out? I could take my PM strap hardware and put it on the sporty strap.... if that's even a possibility. Otherwise, what are the odds of LV making a similar strap for gold hardware bags?

And I agree that mixing hardware is not the best.
Are you only interested in this exact same colour and lettering? They have quite a few of these fabric straps with gold hardware.

I was looking for that kind of strap with gold hardware too early this year, i noticed those that came in gold hard ware are normally too short for me except those with round coin purse for MPA, but I didn’t want to pay for a strap plus round coin purse since I already have MPA. In the end , I requested my kind CA to order the strap of Petite Malle Souple for me , it’s under spare part and costs less than 1/3 of the price of the strap with RCP, most importantly the length is ok for me. But not all CA are willing to do that.

I figured it was a long shot but I thought I'd throw it out there and ask.

I am specifically looking for a thick fabric strap that has an adjustable longer length to it, like the one I posted about. I've tried a few of the fabric straps that were a fixed length and they were way too short for me, I'm 5'9". I'd be open to other colors as long as it was adjustable.

Yeeesssssss... I'm having the same issue! I am on the taller side so short straps don't work for me. Part of the reason I ended up buying the Pochette Metis was the longer adjustable leather strap that came with it. I really loved the Alma BB with the jacquard strap but the strap was a fixed short length and I could barely get it over my shoulder. I'd really love to find an adjustable length fabric strap with gold hardware. I wish I had an awesome CA but I haven't been lucky enough to find one yet.

I saw you mentioned you are 5’9”, 2” taller than me . For thick adjustable fabric strap GHW, so far only the mono MPA strap is okay for me, the strap of petite malle Souple is slightly shorter than the MPA’s I think .
I wished LV make GHW for those straps in men’s collection, those are long enough for us
