Louis Vuitton Repair Recommendations!

Hello, im looking for any recommendations for places who repair the leather on louis vuitton bags. I have a Soho backpack in centenaire where the strap broke. need it fixed since its still in great condition.

I contact louis vuitton directly for repairs (via email), followed instructions and sent them pictures for an assessment and was told they can’t do it.

so now im looking for any repair services.. preferably in ontario, canada who could do it. and do a good job. thanks!!

no. i followed the website instructions and sent them photos etc. and they responded with an email saying they wouldn't repair it.

WOW. It looks so beautiful. The patina is amazing.
I guess they could only repair it by completely redoing the whole bottom. Even if it’s a long gone model, they should be able to do it, since it is only just a Noé style bottom with 2 extra tabs. They are the best leathergoods company afterall, aren’t they?

Bring it into store. Emailing is only catering to US clients, so they wouldn’t be able to offer up a repair regardless. Only way to get a repair in Canada right now is by visiting a store.

I'm surprised CS didn't just recommend OP get the full vachetta replaced instead of repairing that one loophole. That's what I would do and it would look like a brand new bag. It's gorgeous!

Sometimes a good cobbler can work wonders on an old bag that LV won't repair. Purse Rehab in Malibu, California works on bags from all over the place, they will let you mail it to them and they will send it back rehabbed. I'm considering sending my old St. Cloud GM there since the strap broke. You can ask them for an estimate on their website:

Does anyone have experience with a loose chap? My Melie bag is barely used and one side of the chap has a loose stitch. Could I use a dab of super glue? I hate having to send it away for months for repair.
