I would absolutely go for the Metis for both reasons
Both are pretty.
Metis can be dressier in my eyes if needed.
But one could argue that the compartments and the lock of the metis are bothersome.

I know I’m the oddball here, but my vote is the odeon mm. I’ve never owned the pochette metis so I can’t speak to it. But I haven’t gotten it because of the lock. I do love the grab and go handle on it it though. I love the wide strap on the odeon. I also love the one big compartment of it and the nice big front pocket. I actually wear mine on the shortest strap setting and carry it as shoulder bag. Hope this helps!

I love my Odeon MM, mono & black. Easy and carefree. But I want a PM and can’t decide between mono, reverse mono, or empreinte in black or turtle dove. Opinions??
I just placed an order for the Odeon MM. It's a gift for myself. It should arrive soon.
I also own the Pochette Metis since 2018. Will do side by side comparison pics when the weather is better and I can capture good details.

I added a 16” braided short strap for hand/shoulder carry and fell deeper in loveI just placed an order for the Odeon MM. It's a gift for myself. It should arrive soon.

Pochette Metis. I thought I would love the Odeon but didn't find it very user-friendly as the opening seemed to 'snap' shut when it was worn crossbody meaning I was constantly scratching my hand on the zip. The PM is perfect though. Great capacity, secure when closed, opens nicely for access AND great great resale power!
I was thinking exactly the same. I have a black short strap I got for another purse which can be used on the Odeon and make it a shoulder bag. How fun!
