Just got my first pink LV from 24s
This is my second attempt at this pink new wave camera bag. The first one was even worse as the 50% of the zipper pull is tarnished/darkened.

On this second one, the zipper pull still has tarnished line (my camera could not catch the greyish/black spots) and the dark spot has transferred to the leather tab.

Can this tarnished line/spots be removed/cleaned? Does your bag have the same issue?

For the leather parts I have found that a slightly damp microfiber cloth or a white eraser works if you use delicately. For the zipper and hardware you can try brasso or barkeepers friend with a qtip

Did the brasso do remove the gold coating? I was under the impression brasso worked with the vintage bags because they were brass. The new ones are another metal with a powder coating and that’s why they chip.
