You can buy a new padlock and key set from Louis Vuitton (in store only). You can also identify the number at the bottom of your lock and look for the matching key on eBay.Hi there, i’m New to LV and I am missing a padlock key, hoping someone can point me in the right direction as the bag is preloved.

Hi there, thank you. I had already looked on eBay but no 311!You can buy a new padlock and key set from Louis Vuitton. You can also identify the number at the bottom of your lock and look for the matching key on eBay.
Years ago, I was desperate for a 309 key (I still remember!) and I had to be patient. But eventually one showed up. If you have a Louis Vuitton store nearby, your best bet is to stop by and purchase a new set. It's very inexpensive. Is your current lock "locked" on your bag?Hi there, thank you. Thanks again
Yes it’s locked, not a major problem but thank youYears ago, I was desperate for a 309 key (I still remember!) and I had to be patient. But eventually one showed up. Have you checked with LV? I'm also a purist. Lol. I would first check with LV. That's the next best option.Okay, I'm bumping this thread because I have a dilemma. I have been searching for a particular lost key number for YEARS. I'm kind of a purist and feel the lock that came with the bag should be with the bag. Finally, one came up on ebay. With shipping, it will be $65, FOR A SINGLE KEY. What would you do?
Buy the key?
Get a random used set to go with the used feel of the bag?
Get a new one from LV?
Thanks Loriad! I have not. I read through this thread and the consensus seems to be LV just tells you to buy a new one. But it's worth a shot!Have you checked with LV? I'm also a purist. Lol. I would first check with LV. That's the next best option.
