Louis Vuitton Malletier help

I purchased this bag a few years back from a boutique and have looked at every site to try and determine if it's authentic. Everything adds up but the zipper pull had me baffled until I looked at a newer Louis Vuitton pegase 55 and saw the same zipper pull. Is it possible the zipper was replaced? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I think it would be best to get a full authentication but it's possible the zipper has been replaced on an older bag.
