Louis Vuitton costume jewellery does it discolour ?

Need your help please, went to purchase the large LV hoop earrings but my S.A said as made from brass they will discolour?
Has anyone experienced this ?

I don’t own the hoops but I’ve got the essential V studs and the blooming and not discolor so far!

I think it depends on how much LV costume jewelry comes into contact with your skin.
I have a friend with LV costume jewelry bracelet and ring and she wore them almost everyday. Not even a full year in and a lot of the metal had tarnished or discolored.

I feel costume jewelry earrings are a safer bet since they won’t have much contact and rubbing with the skin except for the posts and the parts directly touching your ear.

I agree, I have a ring and after just the first wear it got a spot without the gold. earrings are the safest!

I have a bracelet that I wore pretty regularly and it was unwearable within 8 months.

LV brass is not superior and cannot function better than gold. Of all brands only Chanel's costume jewelry have a high resale value...
