Louis Vuitton Bag Suggestions

Looking to add a bag to my current collection! Any advice/suggestions are helpful. Below is a list of the bags I already owned at some point, I am not against the same bag in a different print but do lean towards canvas:

Neverfull mm mono red interior
Neverfull mm azur rose interior
Neverfull mm azur beige interior
Favorite mm DE
Key holder 6 ring DE

Felicie bicolor black/tan

A little about me. My most used in my collection are definitely my Alma bb and my neverfulls. I do live in a city so sometimes prefer crossbody for safety. I spray my vachetta pieces with Apple garde to prevent staining but and very careful with my bags and they all still are in perfect condition. I was considering a graceful but am afraid of the corner wear. Also am considering the bicolor Métis but honestly haven’t worn my Felicie bicolor so I don’t have an idea of how the bicolor leather wears afraid of corner wear too. I also like the Neonoe but don’t know about the strap drop. So bags I was considering:

Graceful

I have grown this collection over years of birthday and Christmas presents, treating myself for big life events and graduations. So no negative comments please I usually sell my bags to buy different bags as well to rotate.

Wow i can see duplicates. How about the new speedy 20? i think it also depends how much you carry on daily basis. The odeon bag in damier ebene with noir has a front pocket and a removable strap. Diane bag has also a back pocket and 2 detachable straps and its in mono. These are the few new releases items that for me is worth checking.

As for the Graceful, if you look at the Graceful Club thread, lots of tFPers say they have had no wear issues. I had what I consider prematurely early corner wear on my first Graceful, but got a replacement and have not had problems since. So I think a Graceful can work out well. It's a beautiful hobo. But if you're looking for a crossbody for your daily city adventures, I do like the Speedy 20 and Alma bb in epi above are good ones.

I originally liked the south bank besace which I think the Odeon replaced. I think that might be a good option, which size is your favorite the pm or mm? Wow the Diane bag would be perfect if only it came in a treated leather option. It’s a lot of vachetta for me.

Alma bb black Epi?

I did look at this one previously before buying my Alma bb in DE but then thought it didn’t look LV enough. I showed someone a picture and they said they thought it was a Michael Kors bag or something from tjmaxx. So I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend that much for a bag that didn’t look designer enough if that makes sense.

Have you had any issues with the top cracking? I’ve just seen so many horror stories with cracked tops in the canvas.

Yes Thats right. i liked the south bank besace but then when i decide to buy it, its been discontinued. I love the front pocket. I think it depends on how much you carry. For me the pm is enough. I tried the mm and its a bit big for my body. For the Diane, they have it in epi leather. I think they call it Buci if im not mistaken. Personally im okay with the vachetta of diane, i just love how the straps are both detachable. I can use it to my other bags. They have a leather for the speedy 20 as well. I also like the alma in damier ebene but i dont like how it sticks out my body when carried crossbody

I've just ordered the Odeon PM in mono/black. I absolutely love monogram with black leather - it is such a lovely combination and also very 'rain' friendly (I'm in the UK, enough said lol). I already have the PSM which is a fantastic little bag and does hold a lot more than it would first appear to. I am very used to using smaller bags which is why I chose the PM Odeon over the MM. I also like to keep crossbody bags to a smaller size as they just get too heavy on my shoulder. If I use a bigger bag now it will only be my Longchamp Le Pliage shopper.

I purchased the Neonoe in mono years ago and it’s held up very well. I carried almost everyday for year until I got my Metis. I find it roomy and light, I like the shoulder drop personally I’m 5’5” so I don’t ever wear it crossbody (wayyy too long). I’ve also been considering the new smaller Metis as I have found I like a more compact bag now. Also love my Alma bb, I have damier and have almost no signs of wear after 5 years. My most used summer bag, so maybe a different color alma?

There are so many options if you are looking for a crossbody. The metis is my go to bag. However like the others have mentioned these are also great options. I like the Alma but find it’s not a great crossbody option. Good luck making a decision!
