Hi all can someone we please help me decide between the two. Very different styles bags. The gucci soho is in the champagne/ gold and shoulder bag. Vs Louis Vuitton canvas alma pm in damier ebene print, which is a bit more classic.

Well I'm looking for a shoulder bag but I like the look of the alma lol I brought the lv favorite mm but the magnetic was to weak so send it straight back. The other choice was the hoxton which I feel is too flat.

What about the alma bb? That has a strap, I think. Or you can add a strap to it. Personally I can never get into gucci. I have tried but it's not for me I would choose something Lv over gucci. Mulberry and Longchamp have some great shoulder bags. I love my BV cervo hobo.

I love the LV Alma, but only like LV bags in Epi leather. Don't care for Gucci at all. Just my personal preference. Good luck deciding!

I'm not a huge fan of the alma Bb as it looks tiny on me 5'9. I think il probably go with the alma pm

If you're looking for a more structured bag, go for the Alma. Since you're tall, the PM might look a bit small on you. The MM would be a better choice, IMO. Personally though, I'd buy the Gucci. It's a great everyday bag.

I like my shoulder bags to be soft and def not structured, so LV's out the window.
Love the look of Disco, that would be my choice if I was after a bag in that price category.

Definitely the Alma. It will never go on sale (unlike the Gucci), and it is a more timeless design that will be around at least a decade later.

The Gucci Disco may only be around for a few more years. Gucci hardly has permanent designs. Even their Jackie bag keeps getting significant upgrades that made it look very different from what it was seasons ago.
