I just got back from a short holiday overseas, and made it a point to stop over in Hong Kong to visit the Louis Vuitton: A Passion for Creation exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
It was my first time in Hong Kong and as there was a typhoon approaching that day, I hopped off the plane and headed straight to the HKMoA to see the exhibition.
The museum had been covered in blow ups of Richard Prince's "After Dark" series, featuring the covers of popular novels that he had gathered.
I happened to make it to the exhibition at the right time, because as I was leaving they were taking down the coverings as a precaution to the typhoon that was going to hit that night. Over the next few days as I walked past the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the facade was still bare so I was glad I was able to see it while it was dressed up.
