Louis Vuitton 2014 City Guides ?

While trolling the lv website like a stalker, I came across their city guides. I would be interested in buying the NYC or London guide. But I cant be sure what is inside because they mention there are 600 addresses inside, but no inside pictures to really see. Have any of you guys bought a copy?

Is it worth it or should I stick to bookshop travel guides?

Does LV make new editions every year?

I remember reading reviews about them and the general consensus seemed to be 'meh', especially in comparison to other publishers such as DK Eyewitness Travel (which is supposedly very thorough and updated annually without bias).

I have the London one and I find it funny. The recommendations were right up my alley.

Does anybody know whether LV is planning to issue new editions (2016) soon? Or do they make updates every few years and not every year?
