So late last year, I went to take off my favorite pair of earrings and discovered my left ear empty. I was heartbroken because I'd had these earrings for nearly 10 years and wore them practically everyday. :cry:

I went to my SA at Tiffany and was told that the style was discontinued and there would be no way to get a replacement. :pout: She offered to put in a request to have the one left made into a charm and I took her up on it. I wear it with my Schlumberger ladybug now. :cutesy:

Earlier this week I was digging in my husband's junk tray on the counter (it's a catch all for small electronics, his inhaler, other nonsense) and saw something glint, so I took everything out and low and behold! My missing earring! :faint: I have no idea how it got in there.

Even more hilarious... I missed my earrings so much, I bought the same pair pre-loved on ebay.... So now I've got 3 earrings and the pendant!

OMG this is hilarious (and a miracle). I love your ladybug pendant by the way.it's so cute. i think just hold on to the third earring, just in case one of it decided to disappear (touchwood).

Love the pendant with the ladybug!! How about making the found earring into a "dangle" pinkie ring...be a whole set!

Something similar happened to me where i found one of my lost stud earrings six months later. The happiness was the same, if not more, as when i first received them. DH said he should start hiding my jewelry and having them reappear months later...NOT!!

Still loving your Schlumberger ladybug! I think the earring made into a charm is unique and lovely, and looks great with your ladybug. Funny that you now have three earrings, but better three than none! I'd say it all worked out for the best.

" Strangely enough they keep going missing every July and reappearing at Xmas..." :) :P
