Do you ever have your bag charms come off or come up missing from your bag? One of mine disappeared several weeks ago, and I have no idea when or where or how. I went to show it to someone and it wasn't there. Do they fall off easily? Is this common? Or do they generally have to be removed intentionally? I'm not sure if it's more likely that I just lost it somewhere or that someone took it. But now I'm afraid to use my other charms because I don't want them to disappear.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I have had charms on my bags for years and never lost one. But, I think likely yours fell off v being taken. So I wouldn't worry about wearing my bags if I were you. This was probably a freak occurance that won't ever happen to you again.
However, there are often charms sold by themselves on eBay. People sell the charms (and other hardware, straps, etc.) from bags that are no longer usable. I actually picked up a set of Dior charms that I sometimes place on my Miss Dior bags because they were designed without a charm. So you may want to check every now and again (or even better create a saved search and check daily) for replacement charms for your bag.
