Hi all, this is specifically for Singapore Loro piana store. How hard is it to purchase an extra pocket 19? I’ve gone to marina bay sands where I was flat out turned down with “long waiting lists” and when I contacted the ion store, I was offered a black ostrich with ghw. As much as I really wanted the bag, I had to turn it down because I didn’t like ostrich in black color. I would have purchased it if it was in a lighter color. So my question is, will it be really hard to get the bag in either leather or an ostrich I like? Is there prespend needed at Loro like at Hermes?

DH and I were in Ion after the holidays. I asked about availability, and the SA said they basically sell out very quickly, but it’s basically first come, first serve. No prespend. It’s simply whether you are lucky to go in when there is a color and leather you like. With an item this popular, I doubt that they would be able to contact and hold a particular bag unless you are an established client with a particular SA, but that is simply conjecture on my part. I did not ask.
Mbs store mentioned a very long waiting list (more than a year) and the need to purchase something before being offered one.
At ion, they also mentioned a waiting list but my sa didn’t mention anything about purchasing other things to get the bag. However, I did already purchase two summer walks from her last year. Not sure if that counts and maybe that’s why she showed me the ostrich one?
