I've never posted my ring before, but with such a beautiful background how could I not. We were outside on the most gorgeous day and I took it with my iphone so it doesn't show off the beauty of either.

gorgeous pear! i'm partial to pears because i also have one. your setting looks just like mine (except my center isn't as big as yours)—baguettes on the side, platinum???

how about some specs?

Yes. I do not have my appraisal here but know it is 4.17
carats color F VS2 . Very good cut and i cannot remember but think the baguettes are .25 carts. When clean it truly sparkles. I love that it is narrow since my finger is almost a 7 (at the knuckle). yes, platinum ut i had to have a finger guard put on in order for it to go over the knuckle and that part is not platinum since they don't make it.

wow. it's over 4 carats? amazing. it's gorgeous!

when you say a finger guard, do you mean to make it smaller without having it resized? my ring is also a size 7, but now during the colder months, my fingers feel like they're a size 6.5, so it's making my ring much bigger than i'm comfortable with, and i hate to have it resized because i know once it gets warmer, my fingers will swell up again.

where can i get a finger guard? does it just snap right onto the ring? i've been tempted to use the tape thing, but with such a gorgeous ring, i hate to do that to it. but then again, i hate to lose it, too!

No a finger guard makes a ring larger in order to get over the knuckle. I then had sizing beads put in so that it would not turn but stay right in the middle of my finger. the base of my finger is much smaller than the knuckle
comes with age LOL
Forgot, i had it done by a jeweler - it is an integral part of the
shank band.
