Loose thread on new speedy =(

Hi all,

I just got my Speedy B 30 for Christmas and have been using it every day since. Today I noticed a loose thread on the side of my bag. I hope it doesn't get even looser.

For those who own a speedy, is this common??

I wouldn't say this is common on the Speedy bag. I'd go into the store to discuss with a manager.

Oh no!! I also just got a speedy b 30 DE and this has not happened to me. I'd bring it back to the LV store and see what they can do for you because that shouldn't happen after only having a brand new bag for a couple of weeks or less! So sorry this happened to you. they should be able to fix this though!

Definitly take it back and exchange now. I've had mine for 4 years and has no loose stitching.

I've never seen a loose thread on an LV. Take it back

Also, the stitching looks unusually far-spaced on that side of the bag...

loose threads seem to be in fashion now...my mono Eva had that problem after being used only one time. bought on Friday, worn on Monday, loose seams on Monday evening.
Unbelievable!

My DE Speedy is over a year and a half old, carried at least two days a week, not babied at all and still looks brand new. I'd take it back and ask them to fix it for free or maybe they will even replace it since it's only been a few weeks.

I have a LAMB in a similar size/shape to a Speedy and it got a loose thread like this (but that was after over six months of daily use) - a week later the whole side had unravelled and I had to get the zipper restitched.
