Loop vs Alma bb, please help!

Hi purse lovers

I need help with my next purchase! I cannot decide between loop or Alma bb de.

Alma bb is one of those bags that has been on my wish list for years but I never buy because there is always something else I end up getting instead of it. Plus Alma bbs are everywhere. But it is so cute and such a classic shape. I love how dainty it is especially when carried top handle.

The loop bag, SO cute but is it too trendy? Will it become super dated in a few years time? I've been trying to go for less mono but this has definitely caught my eye.

I have both of these bags and like the Alma bb DE more. It's a classic and holds more than the Loop. The Loop holds about the same as the PA. However, you have the Odeon pm which to me is similar. The Loop is cute and has a style of its own. It's versatile with the gold chain. You can wear it as a shoulder bag with the gold chain or crossbody with the vachetta strap.

For me I feel like the Loop is super trendy, while the Alma has already stood a test of time already!

Alma BB DE all the way, I also never bought it for the longest time because so many other things caught my eye. But I finally just got it. It’s a bag you won’t get rid of in a few years, unlike the loop. It’s better to buy a classic.

I would go for the Alma BB. I have the monogram Alma BB and love it. It's so classic and cute at this size, it's ideal. Plus you have the option of wearing it crossbody or without the strap with the handle.

Alma BB but in epi leather. I have the DE but I recently picked up the alma bb in rose ballerine when I was traveling and love it. It's so understated and classic.

I think the alma bb is much more of a classic, you can’t go wrong! I have it and it fits a lot, plus I am sure I will be wearing it for many years to come

I have both and love both. Based on your collection, you seem have some bags that are roomy enough if you need. You could go for loop, I really like how stylish it looks on people.

If you do choose alma, I'll suggest you choose Epi leather. Seems like you don't have one yet.

I have the Alma BB in DE, and another in Epi! The shape is absolutely charming.
If you feel like Alma BB is everywhere, have you considered getting it in other colors? (I attached the photo of the Epi that I got)

That’s true. I wanted a leather strap, but the Epi in Quartz only came with Jacquard. All the more annoying because it makes it more expensive and we don’t even want it

Which colour Epi are you considering? If there is a different bag in that Epi colour and that bag has a leather strap, you could ask your SA if she could order that strap as a „repair“ item. It costs more in total, but you would have two strap options. I did this with the Buci the other way round because I wanted the quartz jacquard strap to match my Buci

I dislike that Jacquard strap too. The bags are even pricier because of it. I own the regular black epi Alma and it is my most used bag. It goes with everything . But I am also still considering the turquoise Alma, but that strap annoys me...
