At first glance this cut looked pretty much like a princess cut, i've just looked at a large picture of how the stone is exactly cut, it looks really beautiful or am I wrong and it is another name for a stone very similar to the princess?

Well now I'm in a dilemma, a very good dilemma though, I'm looking at a engagement ring that has an 8mm square cut brilliant center stone and has a 3mm pair cut on either side, now I'm trying to figure out what type of band would go best with this ring.

Hard decision for the engagement ring, these are both so beautiful. Can you give me some opinions on which set of rings and as far as the second, which type of band would look best?
