looking for trouser jeans

tonight i got my new ginger pants. OMG I LOVE THEM!!! the perfect color, they fit, LOVE. the only thing is even with my highest heels they're way too long.

for anyone who has them- should i just take them to my local place to have them hemmed or is there a good jeans hemmer in nyc so i can keep the same bottom look?

rainyjewels- so right. everything you said about them is dead on!

i bought my usual size. i am the largest size there is and unfortunately for me sometimes that's too small so i went with that and they're fine.

oh im so glad hlfinn! i LOVE them. they were wayyyy too long for me also. i just took them to a local tailor, and they asked if i wanted to keep the original bottom when they hem it, and i paid a bit extra for them to do it. it looks flawless and i wasn't even picky about who i chose to do it! i think it's pretty easy. go for it!
