Looking for reputable consigner to sell my item in London

Hello,

I am hoping this is the right area to post this. I looked around before posting, so please feel free to move to the right area if needed!!
I literally bought a beige Lou camera bag in the dark latte a few weeks ago. Wore it twice but just fell in love and bought a Gold sand coloured medium Loulou Ibn silver hardware today! Love the camera but can't justify both purchases. Does anyone know a reputable consignment store in London equivalent to Fashionphile where I can get my money back and not get a ridiculous low ball offer as the bag has been used twice?

Or should I contact VC out here in London?

Please, please let me know

Much appreciated!!

I have had quotes from Designer Exchange, Bagista and Handbag Clinic before and I must say Designer Exchange in particular quote ridiculously low! The only one I have actually used to sell a bag was Handbag Clinic where I sold a Celine luggage tote a couple of years ago and was very happy with the service and price I was given. I normally sell myself now through HEWI.com as I find I get the most money that way

Thank you so much! This is really, really good to know. When you sold the bag through Handbag Clinic, was that because you consigned with them or did they buy the bag iff you after authenticating? I contacted Bagtista today and they told me they could only offer me 40% less for my new Lou camera bag that I have worn twice!!! I appreciated their honesty, but to me, I would rather keep the bag than sell for 40% less in a THIRTY DAY PERIOD (I purchased the bag on 8/23) I will try Handbag clinic and HEWI- hopefully costs will be higher lol

With handbag clinic they bought my Celine which was brilliant but this was a couple of years ago and I don't think they like doing that as much now. I recently consigned a Gucci bag with them but it didn't sell so I just asked for it to be returned so I could sell privately. If you consign with handbag clinic you will get a decent price I think but not guaranteed to sell. Just in the last week I have sold 2 items on HEWI so maybe give them a look? They take about 20% commission

Thanks again! I will def check them out. Is that 20% all they take if they buy the bag from you or just what is deducted when you consign with them?
