I've started receiving quotes from clinics and its all over the place! Different lasers, different prices.
Some as high as 700!
I also know there are potential dangers to lasers so I'm looking for a reputable place that isn't extremely expensive.

Your skintone plays a big role in what laser is right for you, you should be very careful if you have a darker skintone and make sure the practioner you chose is well versed in treating that type of skin. Rather than using the right laser for you, some office are limited to what lasers they have on hand so they'll say that's what they'll use, so I'd ask what different lasers they have in their office. I've read picosure is often recommend for Asian skintones but I don't have any personal experience with lasers so I can't comment.

Hi @Gats, I posted on laser treatment NYC thread. The laser &skin surgery center there specializes in dark skin laser (I have dark asian skin) and have many on premises. Mainly bc dr. Geronimus pioneered dark skin laser. The dodoors there are also extremely experienced practitioners; it’s an art. I use picosure for overall facial rejuvenation - helps with skin texture and collagen. i also use lasemd and pico+ for hyperpigmentation and brown spots. I have a lot of issues with hyperpigmentation, and multiple sessions are needed. They don’t push services, but I wanted vollure filler to deal with some structural issues due to bone loss, and also strategic botox. And, ot, but my dermatologist there (post geronimus) referred me to brows by Renee for hybrid nano ombré brow work and watercolor lip/aka lip blushing, and I’m really happy with that too.
(not affiliated with any of the above except as a very satisfied repeat patient and client)

I have lighter skin which is very thin. I'm a redhead so I have many freckles!
