Sorry I couldn't help much. I almost bought one but found it too big for my purposes (i'm 5'4"; 100lbs). I bought the marrakech hobo instead. I did not like the way the end of the shoulder straps curl up on both sides. It's not too squarish just slightly taller than the width. Why not go to the Gucci boutique try it on and bring all you intend to put in it and see how it holds up? I was in love with this bag when I saw its pictures on the web but the actual thing was not to my liking. But then we all have our own personal preferences. Good luck.

This is vintage from 1980's but perfect condition...It got passed down to me recently...its a Gucci Boston Bag. I assume the current heritage webbing is based off of this original!

Thanks for trying to help UmmIbrahim and congratulations on your true vintage bag.

The bag OP was after was a particular NEW shoulder bag called the Heritage Web Hobo and thinking about size and wearability/practicality. Since this thread is 3.5 years old I would have thought OP was sorted regards her choice.

Gucci often confuse people by calling actual styles 'Heritage' or 'Vintage-style' but they are usually a little different to the real originals they are based on to suit modern tastes better or allowances for newer tech equipment and the like.
