I had my first plastic surgery procedure in Korea a few years ago before the pandemic craze…I think im finally ready breast augmentation after having such a positive experience with my rhinoplasty last.was just too much of a scaredy cat to do both together and plus im keen on finding a specialist with breast aug like I did with my rhinoplasty,.. found this forum helpful last time so im wondering if any of you have some up-to-date info/rec?! I am looking for the procedure myself, I am a bit too skeptical about big foreign targetted hospitals so asked for a good specialist famous only among locals. The problem was.. they were too locals I couldnt find much information about them.. Dr. Jin Woo Song is the one I am doing my research on now. I will re-post if I have any luck with my research on him or these two other doctors I also got recommended. I asked for more private/smaller and local... pros n cons. lol
I’ve always wanted BA also so I know what you mean, where have you consulted with so far? I only had a couple of consultations for BA when I was in Seoul last to start my plastic surgery journey and doing my research consulting with different clinics
I haven’t had any physical consultations yet but i had a few online consultations with DA, Nana, BongBong. Where did you consult with? How was your experience then? If only it was easier to consult in person and speak to the doctor directly..
I consulted with Dr. Koo (if I remember correctly) at DA plastic surgery for breast cuz I heard he was quite across his academic work in different breast augmentation associations. I liked DA’s facility and their English translators were polite… not too much trouble communicating but I did feel like they weren’t considering or able to express certain details in our discussions properly. I don’t underestimate the doctors skills and experience but I didn’t feel 100% at ease with the his communication style (maybe there was some translation faults there too) he tried to express in English here and there and was polite though. Also I remember the price being quite high but they were willing too discount a bit given some conditions.
I also consulted with Dr. Jay Kim from eight plastic surgery which I went in to consult for rhino and breast. The best thing about Dr. Kim was how easy it was communicate with him. I had heard from the forum back then that he spoke fluent English but to my surprise he literally spoke it natively and I haven’t met a single doctor in Korea that I felt so at ease communicating with like that since there’s always a language barrier/translators doing the job. The facility was smaller than DA and there were far less surgeons comparatively but it kind of felt a little more personal? if that makes sense..maybe it was more of a personal thing tho. Anyway he gave me a super thorough explaining the whole procedure and implant types. I must’ve asked every question I could think of cuz it was so refreshing to communicate directly to the doctor but he was super patient and just easy to talk to and super modest and realistic in his recommendations and judgement. Prices seemed in line to what’s expected based on what I had researched then. Ill def schedule to go see him again once I get an idea of when to visit for consultations and all.
Oh last place I consulted was actually while I was consulting for rhinoplasty. It was Migo plastic surgery and the breast specialist happened to be available so I consulted with Dr.Yoon with a translator. This clinic was even smaller and just felt really local, thats the best way I can describe it? The doc was super humorous actually and I loved his personality. He showed me quite a few before and after photos similar to my physique and i thought that was super helpful to visualize and i loved his results. It was a local friend that actually introduced me to them because the doctor is apparently quite involved and renown in the ba field and different academic activities. Most of the places I visited were all introduced by her since she had most of the local tips about plastic surgery here. Only thing was that they quoted really high to my surprise.. but it was evident that Dr. Yoon had an extensive track record. And him and Dr. Kim at eight also apparently knew each other well through breast augmentation academic associations that theyre all involved in! I thought it was quite interesting to observe their network too.

I’ve heard Namu clinic uses double sleeping anesthesia and not general anesthesia. It’s definitely a factor for me but I haven’t gotten a response from them on LINE. BRAUN also quoted me 6mil for BA. Nana clinic is having a promotion right now too but you have to share your pictures online oof idk I’m just not comfortable with that haha
I was considering BA at Hyundai Aesthetics and did an online consultation with them when they had some BA promos last year, not sure if there's promos for this year thou. I kinda like their bnas for breasts, looks kinda good. They quoted me 5mil or was it 5.5mil, can't remember the exact amt. But they spoke pretty good English and the consultant was quite friendly too. Might be traveling next year to Korea for my surgeries, hope they will stick to the prices they quoted previously. *fingers crossed*

You might do better looking into actual hospitals here rather than plastic surgery clinics. Prices are usually lower (with more included), and you'll have a full medical team to take care of you.
