Looking for a tote with two compartments

I am a knitter who commutes long hours so I carry all my life with me. I now use Longchamp Planetes, which I love but I would like eventually to replace it with something more functional - I would like to compartments - one used for my current project and one for wallet, glasses etc.

There are some bags out there targeted for knitters but they seem to be overly utilitarian. I love the concept of this bag

But it's too masculine and not polished enough for me. Any bags that have two compartments but don't look like I am about to go hiking?

I prefer leather but would be ok with high quality nylon too.
Budget - 250USD

this cole haan bag has a center zip compartment that's huge - can fit wallet and more. on each side of that is an open compartment....very functional

I agree with the suggestion about MZ Wallace. I have the Kate which fits a ton, including a laptop, work files, a scarf, and your knitting project, and outside pockets for a water bottle and things you want to access easily. It is usually closer to $400 though, but you can find it during a sale.

If you are ok with "vegan leather" I see that Namaste just came out with a whole new series of bags for us knitters. If you are ok with canvas the Lands End totes have nice interior organization pockets, perfect for knitting. And if you want to go the opposite of too masculine and are ok with cotton, I like Vera Bradley totes which also have great interior pockets.
